Thin Mat that ripped easily Mar 07, 2011
By Jarom I just received this a week ago and used it for once 60minute session. When I was rolling the mat up I noticed that it was ripping already (about a 2-inch rip on the side about 4 inches from the end of the mat). On my second use I unrolled the mat to attempt to use it but unfurled/whipped it too quickly not thinking about the rip and the rip doubled in size. So now I have a "brand new" mat with an 8 inch rip on it. The mat was uncomfortably thin and did not have much grip for holding positions.

Just what the doctor ordered Mar 15, 2011
By J. Blake I don't use my mat strictly for yoga, I use it for a number of other exercises to improve flexibility. These are exercises prescribed by my Doctor. My criteria for for the mat was that it was to be portable, provide enough padding I didn't feel like I was sitting on a concrete floor and wiped off easily. This mat is perfect. I especially like the size and the color is pretty good too. I'd recommend this mat to anyone who wanted a nice light mat and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. I'll leave the expensive mats to the 'cool kids'. This one is just right for me.

A good price mat but slippery Oct 18, 2010
By Yogaga I bought two of this mat for my Iyengar class, the price is really reasonable. but when I used in my class, it is so hard to do downward facing dog on this mat. very slippery. it looks like there is oil on the surface. I will just use them for the chair pose.

Just what I hoped for Dec 08, 2011
By KateT When I saw the listing for phthalate free yoga mats, I thought I'd give it a try. My house is small (<200sf) and I was hoping for a product that wouldn't stink it up. When I opened the packaging it was only a little smelly, and after I wiped it down, and aired it out for a day or two it was hardly noticeable. I've since bought an exercise ball that is _definitely_ not phthalate free and it stank up my house for a week. eww. This is a good product, and also stays unrolled well even when new, unlike some yoga mats.
